What do models eat?
November 10, 2017
Models earn money with their bodies, so it is important for a model, to treat the body like your best friend. You would not harm your best friend, would you?
Same, models try to not poison their body with excessive sugar intake, the wrong fatty acids, artificial ingredients or everything else, that your great-grandparents would not have recognized as food.
There have been problems with anorexic models in the past, and yes, the fashion industry is about to change. The fit is the new skinny.
As I am a friend of precise answers, I will give you an example of a Model’s diet diary.
- Morning: Avocado-Egg Toast
- Pre-lunch: Apple and almonds
- Lunch: Ravioli-Soup, Baguette, Cheese&Ham
- Snack: Hummus & Cucumber
- Dinner: Thuna and Vegetable.
Around 1.500 Calories, healthy and clean. I can personally recommend diets with 1.500-2.00 calories, 2-3 workouts a week and one cheat day a week.
I can very much recommend you apps like MyFitness Pal in which you are able to track your calories and where they come from. You could have less then 1.500 calories – but if they are the wrong calories (too much of saturated fats or carbohydrates from i.e. white sugar, or empty calories from alcohol ), you won’t see expected results.
Bad calories dry out your muscles, they harm your skin, are not good for your brain functions and will take your energy – if eaten excessively.
It is important to know, though: Models are only humans. And models DO sometimes fail in maintaining a balanced diet. We do crave for the wrong food from time to time. Keep balance in your diet and don’t be too hard to yourself. Good luck with your model-diet 🙂
